Why is Flyaway Farm &
Kennels the best choice for your birdstrike avoidance program?
BASH is much more than just wildlife control. Truly effective
BASH programs incorporate habitat management and modification,
flight restrictions based on local and migratory bird movements,
airfield and low level route risk assessment and annual program
evaluation. Flyaway Farm & Kennels Wildlife Management does
all of this for their clients. We are not only experienced in
wildlife control, we are experienced with both military and FAA
regulations and we know the components of
effective and efficient programs.
Personal
Service
We excel at
working with our clients to give them the program they need on
their airfield. We are experts in helping to start BASH
programs as well as overhauling existing programs.
Education
and Experience
The
combination of personnel with advanced degrees in wildlife
biology and years of experience developing and running wildlife
control programs for the US Air Force generates exceptional
wildlife control and birdstrike avoidance programs. We
have airport biologists that meet all the FAA requirements for
certification as a Wildlife Hazard Damage Management biologist
and perform wildlife hazard assessments and program reviews.
Flexible and innovative
We are not
tied to one system, we tailor all our programs to the specific
concerns of each airfield and client.
We are
constantly developing new strategies and updating programs as
conditions change.
We are very
active in the industry: we attend and have presented data at the annual
Birdstrike Committee US/Canada conferences, are a founding member
of The Birdstrike Association, Inc., and keep current
on all birdstrike issues.
Top of the line border collies
All our dogs
receive on-the-job training, working in an airport environment
Our dogs are
trained on wild birds, not on domestic or flightless birds or
livestock. They understand that their job is to make the
birds leave, not to 'herd' them
Our dogs are
selected for temperament as well as working ability.
We strive to produce well rounded dogs that fit into their
working environment
How can the use of
Border collies help your wildlife control program?
