We train our dogs on real geese, birds and wildlife out in the field. We do not train them on wing-clipped waterfowl, sheep, or use any other irrelevant methods. The result is a dog that thoroughly knows its' purpose — working birds and moving out nuisance wildlife. Our Border collies are trained in a positive and humane manner; they are trained to work with positive reinforcement to make them enjoy what they are asked to do.

u Socialization - Flyaway Farm and Kennels works very hard to ensure that our dogs are well socialized and will adapt to any situation. Our dogs are raised in a family environment and work with the public weekly. The dogs at Flyaway Farm and Kennels are carefully screened for temperament problems. Should a dog have a temperament or aggression problem, it is removed from our program and placed in a more appropriate home or working situation.

u Matching - With information provided by you, we select a trained dog from our kennels that will best adapt to your working and boarding/home environment. We want to please not only you but the dog as well.

u Delivery - We will personally deliver our dogs across the country and help ease the transition of the dog into its new environment. We train handlers while on site and do not leave until all your questions are answered.
